ENGLISH VERSION
Physical chemistry of radical species
The group is interested in the study of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) involved in oxidative stress phenomenon. In particular, the behaviour of hydroxyl (HO•) and superoxide (O2•-) free radicals towards biological systems (lipids, phospholipids, proteins, antioxidants,...) is under focus. The method used for the production of free radical species is the gamma radiolysis of water, initiated by gamma rays of Cesium 137 (Institut Curie, Paris).
Research themes : oxidative stress
